Originally hailing from Beirut, Lebanon, Mario discovered his passion for haircutting at just 16 years old, later moving to Paris, where he refined his skills at the esteemed Carita Paris salon and quickly became a preferred hairstylist for the Elite Model Agency. His talent in fashion, theater, and television led him to major cities like Dubai, Washington, DC, and ultimately, New York City.
In 2007, Mario established his namesake salon, the Mario Diab salon, in SoHo, New York, transforming it into a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. Rejecting fleeting trends, he carefully cuts, colors, and styles each client's hair to enhance their features and align with their lifestyle. “When someone sits down in my chair, I focus on what will best suit their face shape, style, and overall look,” explains Mario. “I genuinely enjoy bringing out the best in my clients and helping them elevate their appearance.”
